To Hawk Hill

Hawk Hill is a vantage point in High Park, where birders congregate in the autumn to peer upwards with binoculars, to watch and catalogue migrating hawks and other species of high flying migrating birds.

Young Oak Savanna

Just got into painting again a few months ago, after a long abscense.  It's all feeling fresh and new again, especially since I've not done nature scenes for over a decade.  This is a plien air at a local park.

Occupy Toronto

After a couple of sessions of painting this scene of Occupy Toronto in St. James Park, I still wasn't quite finished when the protesters were forced break-camp and leave the grounds. I thoroughly enjoyed painting this news worthy item on site, even though it had to be completed in the studio.

Empty Lot on Hook Ave.

This empty lot was being used by an auto-body shop (behind viewer), to store junk cars.

This painting has gone missing after hanging for a period of time (too long) at a local establishment...oh, well.
